About Us

Dr. Angela Durham MD has been practicing General Psychiatry and mental health counseling for over 15 years in Kentucky. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2003 and then went on to attend the University of Louisville Medical School, graduating in 2007. She completed her residency at the University of Kentucky in 2011. Dr. Durham specializes in helping patients overcome challenges like clinical depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. Through a combination of medication management and compassionate care, she aims to empower you to enjoy the activities in life that make you happy.

Outside of work, Dr. Durham enjoys spending time with her 3 children, cooking, outdoor activities, and her dog, Rosie. Growing up on a farm in central Kentucky taught Dr. Durham the value of showing respect for both nature and people who strive to live a healthy and satisfying life. She understands that when mental health challenges, such as major depressive disorder or anxiety attacks, weigh you down, it’s hard to live fully.

Most visits will be via telehealth therapy from the comfort of your home. All services provided are HIPPA-compliant. Initial evaluations will last approximately 1 hour, with follow-ups being 30 minutes. Typical work hours are 9 am-3 pm Monday through Thursday. However, Dr. Durham offers flexible scheduling to meet your needs, including mental health counseling near you and telehealth mental health options.
